    MDI Fortune performs preventive and corrective maintenance for all critical building systems, ensuring operational reliability and regulatory compliance. Our scope covers HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, chiller systems), LV electrical distribution boards, switchgear, standby generators, pumps, plumbing and water supply systems, fire protection systems (sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm panel), and building management systems (BMS). Routine inspections, testing & commissioning, fault diagnosis, and scheduled servicing are carried out to reduce equipment failure, improve energy efficiency, and extend asset lifecycle.

Unlike related fields such as asset or property management, which focus mainly on the value of assets or real estate, FM prioritizes supporting people by integrating four core pillars: people, place, process, and technology.

      While other disciplines focus on physical longevity, the primary goal of FM is to ensure the functionality, safety, and comfort of the environment for its occupants.

      As of 2026, FM is increasingly defined by Smart Building technology.
